Activity Description

Day 1: Jaipur – The Pink City

Your journey begins in Jaipur, a city that wears its nickname proudly. Start off by visiting the City Palace, still home to the former royal family. Right next door is Jantar Mantar, a centuries-old observatory that’s both fascinating and slightly surreal.

Walk over to Hawa Mahal and let the chaos of the street below mix with the silence of this honeycomb marvel. End the day with sunset views from Nahargarh Fort—and if you can, grab dinner at a rooftop spot nearby.

Try this: Head to Laxmi Misthan Bhandar for their signature pyaaz ki kachori and a tall glass of lassi.

Day 2: Amber Fort & Rajasthani Culture

Start early and make your way to Amber Fort, where the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace) is something you’ll remember long after you leave. Later, swing by the Albert Hall Museum or roam around Bapu Bazaar, especially if you’re into block-printed textiles or silver trinkets.

Wrap up your day at Chokhi Dhani, a themed village setup that may be touristy, but the food, folk dance, and puppet shows are a fun way to unwind.

Day 3: Pushkar – A Spiritual Pause

Drive to Pushkar, a small lakeside town that slows everything down. Visit the Brahma Temple—one of the very few dedicated to the creator god—and walk the ghats around the holy lake.
Take the ropeway or a short hike to Savitri Temple for sunset views. The town has a very specific energy—peaceful, a little offbeat, and worth soaking in.

Bonus: If you're visiting in November, check out the Pushkar Camel Fair—it’s colorful, chaotic, and completely unforgettable.

Day 4: Jodhpur – Blue City Vibes

Hit the road early and head to Jodhpur (around 5 hours). Begin with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort—massive, impressive, and steeped in history. From the top, look out over the city, dotted with blue houses like a watercolor palette.

Then stop at Jaswant Thada, a peaceful white cenotaph with gorgeous detailing. As the day winds down, explore Clock Tower Market, grab a cup of chai, and maybe snack on a spicy mirchi vada or two.

Day 5: Slow Morning, Local Finds

Today’s for a slower pace. Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, part of which is still used by the royal family, and part turned into a museum and hotel.

Not far from the fort is Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, a landscape restoration project that’s surprisingly tranquil and great for a walk. In the evening, find a rooftop café in the old city and let the lit-up fort be your backdrop.

Day 6: Udaipur – By the Water’s Edge

Drive to Udaipur (roughly 4.5 hours). Once there, take it easy. This city runs on a different clock—less hurried, more reflective.

  • Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola
  • Float past Jag Mandir and the famous Lake Palace
  • Catch the golden hour with a view of the Aravallis

Tip: Dine at Ambrai or Raas Leela—the views are just as good as the food.

Day 7: Palaces, Gardens & Folk Art

Start your final day with a visit to City Palace, one of Rajasthan’s most impressive. Then stroll through Saheliyon Ki Bari, a royal garden built for court maidens. End with a stop at Bagore Ki Haveli, where Rajasthani dance performances light up the evening.
